Khonnect Social — Privacy Policy

1. What Khonnect Social is

Khonnect Social (social.khonnect.io) is an internal publishing tool operated by Khonnect Studio OÜ. It schedules and publishes our own marketing content (short videos and images for our apps, such as “Neat Hand / 바른글씨”) to social media accounts that we own. It is not offered to the public; access requires an administrator password held only by Khonnect Studio staff.

2. Data we process

• Our own social account credentials: OAuth access/refresh tokens for the company-owned channels we connect (YouTube, Instagram, Threads, Pinterest, TikTok, X). Tokens are stored encrypted at rest in our database (Neon PostgreSQL, US) and used only to publish content and read basic channel/post statistics for those accounts.
• Our own content: the videos, images and captions we create, stored in Amazon S3 (Seoul region).
• Post statistics: aggregate view/like/comment counts of our own posts, used for internal reporting.

We do not collect personal data from viewers, followers or any third party. We do not process data of any user other than Khonnect Studio’s own accounts.

3. YouTube API Services

Khonnect Social uses YouTube API Services to upload videos to, and read statistics of, YouTube channels owned by Khonnect Studio. By using this tool you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

• Scopes used: youtube.upload (publish our videos) and youtube.readonly (identify the connected channel and read our own video statistics).
• Authorized data stored: OAuth tokens for our channels, channel ID and title, and IDs/statistics of videos we uploaded. Nothing else from YouTube is stored. Data is refreshed on each publishing cycle and not shared with any third party.
• Revocation: an administrator can disconnect a channel in the tool at any time, which deletes the stored tokens. Access can also be revoked from Google security settings. Deletion requests: help@khonnect.io.

4. Meta (Instagram, Threads) and other platforms

The same principles apply: we connect only company-owned accounts, store only the tokens and post identifiers needed to publish and to read our own post statistics, and delete them on disconnect. Data deletion request: help@khonnect.io.

5. Cookies

A single session cookie keeps an administrator signed in. No advertising or analytics cookies are used on this site.
